In response to the impact of the recession, Norm Robertson began the Employment Resource Ministry in 2009. He and members of his team met every Wednesday evening at 7pm and have helped over 200 people searching for emplyment. Not only has Norm's team helped these people in their time of need, but they also found this ministry to be a blessing to them, since most of them were in the same boat. With attendance at their meetings dropping off, Norm and his team have decided that the storm has passed for now. They are more than committed to continuing this ministry if there is a need. In the meantime, some of the volunteers are willing to work under the Stephen Ministries. The parish is deeply grateful to these volunteers who have given so generaously of their time and energy to help those in need.
