UPDATE - MARCH 2023:
A little over a year ago Saint Pius X sponsored several refugee families. Since then Catholic Charities has had a continuous flow of refugees coming from different countries. They requested that we be sponsors again. As before, we are relying on the generosity and help of our parishioners.
As we are in the spirit of almsgiving as Lent comes to a close, this is an opportunity to aid those who arrive from another country with nothing. We will be helping a family of six from the Central African Republic, and a family of three from Afghanistan. The family of six will be arriving April 13.
At the link below, you will find different ways you can donate new or used items or help them get settled.

Volunteer Opportunities
In the coming weeks, drivers and mentors will be needed.
Mentors help with learning English, and assisting them in this different culture, are still necessary.
Drivers are still needed and this is a great way to get to know them.
As they progress with our language, finding jobs will be a priority so they can support themselves.
To become a volunteer driver, contact Ken Herceg at kherceg.kenherceg@gmail.com
