"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the world."
(Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1213)
Infant Baptism is for children from birth to age seven years old. Baptisms are currently celebrated following the 12:00 p.m. Mass on Sundays. Traditionally, Baptisms are not celebrated during Advent or Lent, but please contact Robby Kiley with any scheduling questions (contact information below).
Parents requesting to receive the Sacrament of Baptism for their infants must attend a baptismal class. The class is typically offered on the first Wednesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Parish Life Center. Classes should be completed before scheduling your child's Baptism.
