Learning to Pray from and with the Fathers
A number of the Fathers of the Church wrote short works on prayer, with particular attention to the Lord's Prayer. Come join Msgr. Mike as we read and discuss four of these works as a way of deepening your own prayer life.
Mondays, November 4, 11, 25 and December 2
7-8 p.m. in the Schooler Parish Life Center
We will be reading Tertullian, Cyprian, And Origen On The Lord's Prayer (St. Vladimir's Seminary Press Popular Patristics Series)
Books will be provided for those who register by October 20.
Those who are register after October 20 are still welcome but must purchase their own book!

2024 Parish Book Program
Each winter, parishioners form small groups to read and discuss an engaging Catholic book. We strive to select a title that meets people where they are and helps our parish community to grow toward where God is calling us to be, especially in light of our annual theme (in 2023-2024, we are celebrating the Year of the Eucharist). This is a great way to make new friends while growing in faith! Our 2024 Parish Book Program kicked off with a morning of retreat open to the entire parish on Saturday, January 13.
In 2024, we read Habits for Holiness: Small Steps for Making Big Spiritual Progress by Father Mark-Mary Ames, CFR.
