The Parish Education Center - 2008
The parish’s master plan (2003) included construction of the Parish Education Center (PEC), which was dedicated in 2008, and the development of the land adjacent to Santa Monica Drive. The PEC serves to meet the many educational and pastoral needs of our parishioners. Recognizing that education in the faith is a life-long process, the PEC provides space for learning from cradle to grave, including:- Preschool
- Parochial grade school
- Grade-school religious education
- Adult education series
- Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, Teens, and Children
- Sacramental preparation programs
- Sports activities
- Christ Renews His Parish weekend retreats
- Many additional opportunities for spiritual growth

The expansion of the Parish Education Center allows space to meet the growing needs of various parish ministries such as: the parochial school, religious education, youth ministry, and preschool. The addition to the Parish Education Center (PEC) included:
The Parish Education Center Addition - 2019- A multipurpose room
- A set of restrooms on each floor
- Three dedicated preschool classrooms
- Three classrooms to meet the fluctuating needs of the parish and school
- A dedicated resource room for students with special educational needs
The multipurpose room serves the growing needs of our children’s ministries and will alleviate scheduling issues, providing space for the Youth Ministry, before-school and after-school care, the school cafeteria and adequate space for large group presentations.
The two-story addition to the PEC provides additional restrooms, as the original facility was not designed to accommodate current enrollments. The three lower level classrooms meet the needs of the flourishing preschool program and allows Saint Pius to offer the demanding need for an all day preschool option. The second level includes three additional classrooms to meet the fluctuating needs of the school and the religious education program. Additionally the second floor provides adequate space for the resource program for students with individualized education programs (IEPs) and speech therapy. -
