Registration for the women's retreat is now closed.
Extended Exposition will be offered in the chapel on Saturday, February 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to all. We need at least two adorers to sign up per hour. Once all spots are filled, all are welcome to come at any point during the designated time frame.

Winter Retreat: Prayer and the Kingdom of God

8 to 11 a.m. in the Church and the Schooler Parish Life Center

Michael Heintz, followed by Q&AJoin fellow parishioners to pray, praise God and receive His love in Mass, Adoration and Confession, followed by light refreshments and a presentation by Msgr. Mike. The retreat is open to all, and also complements the parish book study on How to Pray.
We will hear about what the Kingdom of God "looks like" and how to begin living in the Kingdom now, especially through prayer. Msgr. Mike will discuss the relationship between prayer, Baptism and our natural and supernatural vocations, and receive encouragement for when prayer seems dry, ineffective or worthless. Do you just need to rest a bit after the busyness of the holidays? Would you like guilt-free time with God when you don't have to be productive? Have you been giving so much of yourself that you long for someone - or Someone - to pour into you? Join us for a relaxed, peaceful time of receiving God's love!
Designed for women of all ages and stages of life, this retreat offers some time and space to receive the mercy, peace, and gentleness of God's love, in an atmosphere of both quiet prayer and sisterly encouragement. Our retreat will include:
Friday evening: Welcome reception with light refreshments, social, a brief presentation, and prayer.
Saturday: Mass, Adoration, available Confession, Presentations, Fellowship,
Small Group Discussions, Personal Prayer, Reflection/Journaling Opportunities
A few details:
A continental breakfast and lunch are provided Saturday.
Childcare for 1yr to 8th grade is provided for those indicating so on the registration, and will be offered in three sessions - Friday night 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 7:30 - 11:30 a.m., and 11:30 - 3:30 p.m. You may register for any combination of sessions - step by step instructions are on registration form. Babies in arms are welcome to attend with Mom.
Total Cost of the Retreat is $20*.
*Cost is reduced to $10 for those with serious food allergies who will bring their own food.
