The New Parishioner Welcome Team helps ensure our newest members of SPX Parish know we appreciate them and are happy they joined SPX! The team helps register new parishioners, answers questions, and acclimates new members to parish life at SPX.
How the Ministry Works
There are multiple ways in which parishioners can participate as part of the New Parishioner Welcome Team:
- Team members will be scheduled to greet and welcome newly registered parishioners or register new parishioners after Mass(es) on designated Welcome Weekends.
- Mentors will be paired with a newly registered parishioner or family who is interested in working with a mentor to help guide them through the ins and outs of Saint Pius X. Contact is determined by the relationship and needs of the new family, with their approval.
- Gathering Hosts help set up, serve food, and clean up on Welcome Weekends.
